T123 Terminal Complex Madrid Barajas Airport

New Terminal Building and Landside Development for theT123 Complex at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport

The project for the new T123 terminal complex at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport will double the capacity of the current facilities. Designed for traffic forecasts on the horizon of 2040, the new complex will be able to process more than 54 million passengers a year.

The project is based on the functional reorganization of the terminal area, with the centralization of departure and arrival operations in a new building and the transformation of the existing terminals into exclusively air-side boarding concourses.

Passenger processes for check-in, security control and baggage reclaim are concentrated in the new terminal located in front of the existing terminals T1 and T2. The existing terminals are renovated to increase capacity for boarding and deplaning processes as well as commercial areas and other associated services.
