T3 Terminal Malaga Airport

New Terminal T3 and Landside Development at Malaga Airport

A large continuous roof structure hovers over the departures hall, departures roadway and the arrivals hall at a lower level. To take advantage of the climate of Malaga, the arrivals hall has been developed as an opened covered plaza where passengers can reach various forms of ground transportation without crossing any vehicular roadway.

Spatial continuity between interior and exterior was a critical factor in the project design phase. This concept has been the guiding force in the development of the roof structure and the curtain wall that separates the departures hall from the exterior spaces.
